note to self

Threading a needle at 4:30 a.m. is hard.
Hemming marching band pants this morning
that I should have done 23 mornings ago.
A monkey off my back!
(I'm seeing my mother in me...)

At least you can thread a needle at 4:30 in the morning. I can barely do it anytime of the day! And I CAN'T be up at 4:30 in the morning!!!

4:30== are you missing your seminary teaching that much- LOL

You definitely have some Mom genes going on. No one in my house made it up for seminary this morning. I guess when the whole house needs to sleep, we sleep. Amy Jo

You need to learn the joy of staples and black markers. Hemming made quick and easy! Works in a pinch on the road and at 4:30am. I remember your mom having fresh/hot cinnamon rolls waiting for us at 6am for seminary. So I think you are wearing your mom's genes well.

mornings ARE getting easier, but only because of the panic that sets into my brain as I lay in bed trying to check off all the things I still need to accomplish before the sun goes down! (I want berry picking to be spontaneously on the list! I want 23 more hours in my day!) LL--it's the puffy face morning look that you're seeing--I think I lose all that collagen as my skin wakes up, and then I look much older. Heck, I'm thinking if I look so youthful so early in the morning, I might just start living my life in the early morning hours when I can get LOTS more done without interrruptions, and noone cares if you've brushed your teeth yet or not! And smart mama--procrastination does come with its painful moments! I'm living some now.

Only a mother would get up at 4:30 am to hem pants. You are a saint!
And I agree with the others, you look great at the hour of the day. Me, not so much.

I am clearly doing a horrible job home teaching. Yes yes, early to bed and early to rise and all the rot but really! I am sure no where in the scriptures does it say, "mend the children’s clothes with a smile on thy face."

This is clearly the fault of a bad influence; Roger see what you have doe.
