99 pieces of bedding in the washer...

(sung to that childhood favorite of 99 bottles of pop on the wall)
99 pieces of bedding;
you wash one sheet
and another kid
(enter your favorite term for 'throws up')...
another set of bedding to wash.
Fun times at our house.
the plus side: It was sunny and dry
and I hung LOTS-O-LAUNDRY on the line.
the down side: wonder who'll be next?
the other plus side: not much in the way of meal prep today
the down side: we're out of saltines and apple juice,
and the only bananas left are green.
the plus side: Mr. W. escapes this germ warfare
the down side: one less adult to steer sleepy bodies towards the bathroom in the middle of the night
HUGE plus: Mr. M. has had this 'bug' the longest, and has not missed
(the toilet or bowl) once.
AND he cheerfully and proudly announces the throwing-up tally to his brothers and sisters, like it's a really great accomplishment.
Tomorrow is a new day.

Oh Jen-Jen...YUCK! When did this all start? Please tell me you do NOT have this bug. You must be bug free for Friday and for your birthday. That's an order missy! Wish I could come help you. :(

We all laughed (in a mocking way) at A. when we came home from church to find him babysitting with his SARS mask on. He remains uninfected. For now. I'll do my best about Friday. Missy.

Oh yes, please be bug free by the weekend, I'm so tired of wash, I can hardly keep up as it is. Sorry you're home alone with no help.

Roger is very clever isn't he, he knows just when to take those lovely trips to the beach!

Sorry your household is ill and hope it is short-lived. Disinfect everything--air out the house and make sure everyone washes their hands well. Mr. M is a riot but I'll bet the others don't think so as they are making their various trips to the bathroom. Hope everyone feels better soon. Love, Aunt Shirley

Oh that is awful! I think you need a vacation...somewhere nice and warm. Oh wait, I got it. How about Arizona?!

I hope you are at the end of the yucky stuff, and that you don't get sick yourself.

No fun. It's always better when they can make it to the recepticle by themselves.
We have a suspected case of pink eye here. Thankfully it doesn't bother him so we might not be passing it on.
