Jury Duty

I'm off to do my civic duty.
And lots of reading.
(and letter-writing, and checkbook balancing and RS business...)
I've packed myself a little lunch and a big bag-o-business.
I'm considering it a catch up day for me,
and the lucky day of the week for the W******** Trial Court.
Those people don't know how lucky they are to have such a proficient multi-tasker in their midst. May it be a day short on trial and long on checking off the personal to-do list.
Think judicious thoughts!

How did it go? I have only had to stay for a real trial once, it was a very interesting and disappointing experience (the way it turned out).

Yeah! I love feeling like my bag of to do's might get done. Who has M? We loved the beaver chewed tree picture. Lots of ooohs and aahhs over here. We're still all home together, nice and cozy!

I've never had to serve on a jury but have been called many times to be in the court area, the last one being last year. Since I have reached the ripe old age of &), I don't have to serve anymore. This last one was going to be in Roxbury--not a very safe place to be walking. I was so glad that I didn't have to go. I used to go to Boston which I didn't mind and once in Dorchester. Now they send you wherever they want. I've done my duty, and now it's someone else's turn. Hope your day was a short one.

I've never been called her but I did serve for 2 weeks in Beverly Hills! They never called a jury so we sat. Herbie Hancock was a witness at a trial on my last day!

I had to do jury duty shortly after we moved there! I was very stressed about it but I ended up not making the final selection--I was stoked! Hope yours goes as well!
