Patriot's Day!

We started Sunday night at Ellen's party condo in Lexington.
From there we walked to Lexington Green, where we passed William Dawes and Paul Revere on horseback.
While we waited, we had several conversations with the colonists, holding the crowds to the yellow line.
This one showed us how to load a flint-lock rifle.

The Red-Coats are coming!
And so begins Boston's best day.

I need to borrow some of your photos...mine aren't that great!
Last I heard, the REGULARS were coming too.
(i like Red Coats and so I'm sticking with that!)
They can't go changing things on us like that :-)

Next year it's the W's turn for the slumber party! Today was great. I'm off to Kimballs for a big ice cream cone!

And you had wonderful weather for those early morning activities! Jarrod was bemoaning the fact he hasn't been in sooooo long!

man, you had a packed couple of days!!! I didn't realize they did all that night before. I always thought it was early Monday morning. I loved seeing some of the reenactment when I was a little girl - definentely one of the benefits of living close by there!
