my new cold frame

 leftover lumber + a co-worker's old windows
+ Dub's skills = my new cold frame

Just in case you are not savvy to what a cold frame is/does:

cold frame
noun.
An unheated outdoor structure consisting of a wooden or concrete frame and a top of glass or clear plastic, used for protecting and acclimatizing seedlings and plants.

it was the "cold" part that threw me off.

The Farmer would not be pleased with my lack of knowledge in this area.
Now I know :-)

I knew! Yay for Aunt Shirley!! I have a friend in Needham who uses one all the time. I'm sure he is chomping at the bit to get everything into his garden and prays that the animals will leave his tomatoes alone this year. I reaped carrots, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, and acorn squash from his garden last year. Loved it! And later, his raspberries!!
