rain, apples and tradition

We abruptly found ourselves rained-out of THREE soccer games on Saturday morning, and our newly acquired free time coincided with the arrival of  Mr. Dub!
(who had been away on business all week)
We loaded up and headed quickly north to our FAVORITE September place.

thank goodness for the rain,
spontaneity,
and Fall traditions!
(eleven years at this same spot--we LOVE it)

Saturday turned in to a surprisingly beautiful day--perfect for apple picking.
Looks like a good time. Is it weird to travel with only FOUR kids?

Looks like lots of fun. Is this the same place I went with everyone when you were in the hospital with Mr. Morning? We had a great day and ended up at Parker's. Did you get there as well? Great food. That was the day we got to see a baby moose. Mama was probably close by, too, but the moose was right next to the stone wall. It was an amazing sight to say the least. Love the pictures--beautiful family!

I LOVE Windy Hill Orchards! It's definitely one of those things I miss about New England in the fall...

Oh fun!

Keep enjoying all these little things while the kids are home.

Last year before Rog left he told me that was one of his favorite things to do together with you guys. He asked if there were any pick your own apple places in Utah.
