I'm going on Saturday. To Red Apple Farm out your way. I can't wait!
What gorgeous apples! My girlfriend and I went to Carlson's on Thursday. The apples weren't as large this year as they were last year because of not having enough rain to fill them out. Then we went to Tiny's in Ayer for lunch (lobster salad roll and onion rings), then to the Salt Box which, unfortunately is now closed--looked like that was going to happen last year. Next stop--The Colonial for candy and hot fudge sundaes!! This is an annual trip we take. Tradition here as well. I remember going apple-picking with Dub and children when you were in the hospital with Mr. Morning. Then we went to Parker's for lunch and we also saw a young moose. That was a fun day. I also went down a slide with Miss S. Dub had taken us to a playground area so they could all unwind. We had a fun-packed day. I've made four apple crisps with mine and have some left--probably will make some applesauce and a pie. Just got the small bag this year. Glad you all had fun.
Traditions create such loving memories. I know R will hold on to those for the two years he's away. Love the old picture.
CUTE!!!!Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. He's a good one, and so are you.I love FUN traditions, they create such happy memories for years and years.
Very nice to see and know the change. So wish we had fall apples out here
I bet you have all the inbetween pictures too, line them up and flip through, a fast growing boy! Never too grown up to go appe picking though.
McKell was lamenting the lack of those delicious apples a few days ago! What sweet times and great memories!
Don't tell junior but I though the first picture was Abby
Oh, picking apples in autumn... One of the MANY things I miss about New England! Enjoy your lovely apples. :)
