But just for FUN! we're ALL getting treated.
This is WAR!Carpets vacuumed. Bedding changed and being washed with all towels in HOT water. Combs, brushes and all hair ties, clips and pretties boiled, sanitized, bagged up or thrown away. Toys and animals bagged. Good-bye bedroom clutter for the next TWO weeks. Upholstery sprayed. Heads checked, treated and tight BRAIDS for everyone! I will NOT be defeated.

Oh, I am so sorry!! Not a fun thing for anyone. Now they have stuff to use which is much easier than when I was growing up. I had those little varmints twice when I was young. I remember my mother using some kind of green soap to wash my hair and also a very fine tooth comb going through every strand of hair to get those nits out of my head. Hope all goes well and you get rid of those varmints.

We had it earlier this year! So unpleasant! Just thinking about it makes my head itch.

no!NO!
jenny- little known fact lice hate dry heat- I read a great article on this once- this is why people in the west rarely get lice-- they were doing studies using air blow dryers-with good results-- so in addition to treatment- excessive use of blowdryers they cannot survive -- yes as an elem school teacher i am a master at spotting lice- Sorry i am not around i'd offer to head check!
