Bryce Canyon was our FAVORITE of the parks we visited...
The scenery was AMAZING!
We even hiked into LARGE mounds of dinosaur poo...
Hiking down into the canyons was breathtaking.
HOW could anyone deny God's hand in this?
The girls wanted to touch a 'hoo doo' for good luck
Mom and Mason missed some of the hike--any guesses why?
We could have stayed another day at Bryce
It was our favorite hiking day--VERY cool to hike the switchbacks down into the color

We had to settle for a 'fake' mule ride at Bryce
It was GOOD family time
And some of us became Bryce Canyon Junior Rangers!

Being sworn in was a great honor--memories should last for a LONG time.
(more still to come!)

WOW, it is always breathtaking, it will be etched in the minds of your kids forever.
WOW JENNY! Your pictures are amazing...I can't believe how much you were able to see while you were there.I admire your courage taking kids on those hikes...I too, have a deep respect for heights ESPECIALLY with kids near. I can hardly stand the thought, makes it hard for me to breathe, :) you are one brave mom! great memories for the family!!!
so beautiful- i can't wait for our s. utah jaunt this nov.!
How old do you recommend kids be before taking them to Bryce. I'm not crazy about the grand canyon yet for our kids but I'm thinking Bryce looks much better??? Or should we wait until youngest is 5?
Tom, it IS breathtaking--a forever memory, to be sure. LL--it wasn't hard to avoid being in the scary places, but the scary ones were the most beautiful, of course! Smart mama--take lots of pictures! The kids are enjoying our pictures as much as being there! Ben--WAIT. Besides Mason, (who took strategically planned naps), our youngest was 7 1/2, and that was a good cut-off for those hikes. Poor Mason got the blood cut off in his fingertips, from having his hand squeezed so tight on some of those walks!
Thanks for taking the pictures because I know I'll NEVER go. Can't handle the heights. I like them much better in picture. It is so beautiful though....
