Tanner will be the third child/grandchild/cousin/missionary in his generation of the family to serve a mission. He enters the Missionary Training Center in Brazil on August 1st, and will spend two years in Londrina, Brazil.
As I write this, I know that Tanner is on his way to his mission. May he do well. He was so excited and I am so happy for him. May he be blessed with good companions who are as eager to work as he is. Love you, Tanner.

They are lucky!
Oh my goodness, it seems that every time I hear of a missionary going to Brazil, it's to a mission that I haven't yet heard of! There are so many!
Love it--he will make a difference there in Londrina.

I give his name tag about a week in the field before it is changed to Elder Tanner. He just looks older now that he is going on a mission doesn't he?
