We haven't stepped out to spoil the perfect-ness of the new snow yet, but about the time this is posted, we'll be out wielding snow blower, shovels and sleds! Bring on winter!

I'd like to hear you say this in another month or so when you're tired of it all and the kids will be going to school into July!! My neighbor Dale shoveled my walks--front and back, both porches, and cleaned off my car. Of course we can't go anywhere because a plow has yet to come to plow us out. I've made a call to the Mayor's hotline--I do this every storm!! My neighbors in back haven't been plowed out either. It will be interesting to see what time that happens. Enjoy the snow--it's in a good place--in the country--here, it's in a bad place--the city can't even handle it anymore. I've thrown seed out into the cemetery for the birds, and they are coming in droves--juncos, sparrows, cardinals, chickadees--love to see them!
It really is beautiful, but sometimes there is just too much beauty around us!

I love those first two pictures where the drifts look so cool. We're snowed in with 2 inches. We're jealous.
