Last Sunday we drove to Connecticut (in a snowstorm) to attend church with my brother's family. My nephew Derek recently returned from a two-year mission in Brazil. He was speaking in their Sacrament Meeting. Derek looked GOOD. I told him I was still smitten by his dimple. It was excellent to see him.
Derek is the oldest of Rich and Kelly's TEN children. His sister Naomi (19) is leaving in May to serve a mission in France. Greg (18) is turning in his mission papers this weekend.
The twelve of them may not be all together again for quite a few years.
They thought it would be a good idea to take some pictures. They elected me photographer.
(Sudden regret at not having taken that photography class yet...)
I knew this would not be an easy task.
They're a rowdy, FUN bunch.
There are five boys:
and five girls:
I can't help but think of the scripture in Psalms 127 that says "Children are an heritage from the Lord."
"Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord;
and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man;
so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them."
Rich and Kelly have their quiver FULL.
They are a HAPPY group.

Very nice post! Very nice pictures!
Great pictures, and the one of Kelly and Rich is awesome!
Amazing!
That is the scripture Rich wrote on our engagement photo! We're getting there, but I doubt it will be THAT full. Great photos. You're a pro mom-ographer.
