Sweet Mesquite turned 16 today!
It's so hard to believe.
She's even grown up in the blogging world.
Last year I thought she was so grown-up at 15.
NOW look at her!
More beautiful every year.
She got a new car from her dad!
When she found out it was parked in the driveway, she ran out excitedly...
only to find the little yellow two-inch version with a cute bow on top.
She STILL gave her dad a hug.
She's gracious. And a good sport.

I LOVE her. Wish we could have popped in today. I just couldn't handle the price of gas to get down there. HAPPY DAY!!!
It was nice to see her yesterday at your folks to wish her a happy birthday in person. Did you take a picture of her "new car"? Perhaps in another year or so she might get her real one. Love the cake and candles. Looks yummy. Hope she had a great day.
Tanner almost jumped off the bed thinking she got a car! He would not have handled that as graciously. Happy Birthday sweet girl! That's SOME cake!
