And he's ready to be a college freshman!
We arrived on campus Wednesday.
The setting is breath-taking. 
He visited the ROTC building, 
became acquainted with the cougar 
and established his new home base.

he's making plans to "hike the Y"
and he's got his all-sports pass, so he'll be visiting this place a few times this fall.

I loooooooved my years at BYU. My wonderful brother-in-law just started as a freshman, and it makes me warm and happy inside.
I'm sure your son will have a great freshman year.
We are HAPPY for him...but we will MISS him. :(

Tell him if he ever gets tired of seeing blue, there is an awesome school about 45 minutes away on a hill in SLC that is true red!

C is just a stone's throw away from R at Canyon Terrace. Imagine!!! Trust me, the empty feeling in your heart gets a bit easier to deal with over time.
Ah yes he is here and we are so glad to have him near by and spend some time with him. Had him over for dinner last night and the boys were all fighting over who got to sit by him...E won!
Fun pictures! Love that place. Still remember our first year, and taking everything in. Love the fall weather, beautiful grounds and buildings, pure heaven on earth. Good food to boot ;-)
So did you share with him some of your favorite memories. How lucky is he to have mom help him transition!! Wish I could have done that once or twice!!

I'm sure he'll have a wonderful experience, and to have an aunt and uncle there as well is great. How did you do?
Ahhh, Roger in college. Its bringing me back. Zach and I have only been gone from Provo for 3 years and I'm sure if he had his way we would be headed back there pretty soon.
