Is it an omen?

More graduation traditions.
Four days before graduation, the Seniors parade along Massachusetts Avenue in their cars in what's known as
The Senior Motorcade.
This involves a lot of honking and screaming and waving.  They then park at the High School, have a Senior breakfast, sign yearbooks and watch the Senior slideshow.  It happens pretty early in the morning, and right in the middle of the commute to work and school.
I asked Leeli to shoot the video of the spectacle with the intent, of course, of capturing some shots with the camera.
The camera with no memory card, since I left it in the laptop last night.  So there are some bumps in the middle, as I summon my movie maker from her comfortable spot in the car to my roadside position.
Mesquite is in one of the last vehicles in the parade.
Just as the jeep she was riding in approaches my viewing spot, a large white truck passes in front of the camera.
And then she's gone.
Is this an omen? Foreshadowing of what's to come?
Or just dumb luck?
We were there, we waved and we celebrated.
It's a great tradition.
Lot's of fun for the Seniors, and lots of fun to watch.
Here's what we have to show for it:
