the kitchen is not boring!
Yesterday we cranked out three zucchini coffee cakes, a double batch of peanut butter cookies,
a big pot of spaghetti sauce from the garden tomatoes-a-plenty,
and made eight chicken pot pies for dinner.
We're on our fourth straight day of rain. What shall we make today?

ew! someone clean that oven! STAT.
Yum!
Those pot pies look really good, can you share the recipe?
That's a GREAT thing to do on rainy days. Keeps the house cozy and yummy smelling too. We've done zucchini bread, peach pies and spaghetti sauce from garden tomatoes as well. Good stuff. :)
I love days like this every once in a while!
Looks delicious!
Well, whatever you decide to make today, be sure to bring some over to share. :)
Crank out some more of those pot pies put them on ice and ship them on over. I will trade you for chocolate!!
Everything looks so yummy!! I finished a sweater, scarf, and hat. These are for the church fair in October. Made blueberry pie on Sunday from a quart of Maine blueberries picked up at a stand on the way back from Boothbay Harbor on Saturday. Went to a Clambake--two lobsters, steamers, corn, potato, hard boiled egg, onion, and homemade blueberry cake. Hope everyone enjoyed their pot pies--they look great!
Delicious!
It looks great even at breakfast time!
I too want the pot pie recipe...l love the mini versions!
What a fun and delish dinner.
Sigh...I need a rainy day. It is still too hot for me to even look at my oven. Some big girl helpers would be nice too.
Wish we had a little bit of that rain out here in the desert. You want to come over for dinner?
