Happy Birthday Dad!
It was fun to watch him shine the shoes of my brother and my husband during yesterday afternoon's conference session. I have fond memories of watching him take great care in the shining of his own shoes every week growing up.
I had a few thoughts:
Military men bring a new level to shining shoes.
On Easter, he quietly shined the shoes of those he loves, similar to when Christ washed the feet of his apostles before his death.
I'm grateful for a dad who takes pleasure in serving others. Happy Birthday Dad!
