fall is glowing

I couldn't let the colors of the season pass without paying tribute.
I drove past our good friends' house, and had to turn around and drive up their driveway to take some pictures.
This past weekend must have been peak foliage weekend here. This picture was taken on our street. We were rushing to get to the library before it closed, and I couldn't help myself. I had to stop again!

And this tree overlooks our driveway.

Everything was glowing!

We definitely have lots of trees here, and they're pretty, but there is no brilliance that New England has. I miss it.

Ooooooh... *sigh of longing* I miss those colors SO much! The colors here are so bland... And now we've had snow today, so there's little chance of getting that kind of color...

You've got some very nice colors there and I'm not sure where you are and the other commentator's are but to see more New England fall photography they could go to http://www.yankeefoliage.com and check the read gallery and the 2009 contest. Also Yankee is up on Facebook. http://www.facebook.com/yankeefoliage
I hope this helps their longing for fall in New England.

Beautiful. :) One of the reasons I would NEVER want to leave NE.

I agree Becky, even though we didn't have much of a fall this year, it was still beautiful.
