Bringing home the Christmas Tree

Life is busy.
There have not been wide open spaces on our calendar this month.  We've talked about how difficult it was going to be to get everyone together in the next few weeks to pick out a Christmas tree. Today the kids had a half day at school, so we seized the opportunity to gather a family majority (Mr. Dub had to work, and Enrique is in the throes of finals week at school) and we ventured to our local tree farm after lunch in search of the perfect tree.  It was a beautiful day--we found a beauty.

Yeah! I'm glad I'm not the only real tree lover in the family!

Looks awesome! Amen to the first sentence of your post- "life is busy". It just seems to be more so at this time of year.

Fun! My roommates put up an artificial tree that they found in our basement, which is good because A) it was free, and B) we don't have to worry about taking it down before we all go out of town. That being said, I am a definite real tree advocate.

Here's the question....
did you tip your tree guy?
(the one that tied it to your car?)

I love that tree farm. We have gone there the past 3 years!
