And Then There Were None

Just in time for Halloween, I finally read my first Agatha Christie novel.  It was clever, although I will admit to having a hard time keeping all the characters straight for the first 80 pages or so.  Aside from the ten house guests getting killed off one by one, the creepiest part of the book was that they kept pulling canned tongue from the pantry and ate it for just about every meal.
Tongue, anyone?

I recently read this too! Or, I should say, I listened to it as an audio book. I loved it, so I followed it up with Murder on the Orient Express, which was good but not quite as suspenseful as And Then There Were None. PBS/Masterpiece did a fantastic series on some of the Poirot mysteries, and a former roommate introduced me to some of the old Ms. Marple shows, which I loved.

Hurrah for Agatha Christie (I'll admit, I used to be something of a junkie; read every Hercule Poirot novel she wrote, although I didn't care much for the Miss Marple series)!
