Yesterday:
Made seven beds.
Put on clean pillow cases,
added one homemade poem of love on bright PINK paper;
When you say your prayers tonight,
Think of something sweet.
Something someone did for you,
Or something good to eat.
Then before you say ‘amen,’
Give thanks to God above.
‘Cuz even when things aren’t so good,
There’s always, ALWAYS LOVE.
Think of something sweet.
Something someone did for you,
Or something good to eat.
Then before you say ‘amen,’
Give thanks to God above.
‘Cuz even when things aren’t so good,
There’s always, ALWAYS LOVE.
with a personal note about why I loved each one SO much,
and dropped a chocolate on for good measure.
Sweet Dreams!
...and happy loving, day 3.
P.S. And a VERY Happy Birthday wish to my brother. I LOVE you!!

Jenny. You are a SHINING STAR!
I chipped ice on the driveway for hours yesterday, I told Chris that was his gift of love for the day...no nice notes, not chocolate.
I loved your poem, your kids must be loving this challenge...I'll try and step it up today. Thanks for the fun ideas...
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the Brother!
Wow. I'll have to step it up over here too.
So cute, look at those cute twin girls!
That is one handsome brother you have. He looks like he could be your twin. He does look a little on the thin side though, probably could use some homemade granola, or one of those famous fruit smoothies to keep him going.

LL~son #1 has been chipping that heavy, thick and never-ending ice on the driveway... I helped him shovel it into a wheelbarrow yesterday, and it's HARD work! That is a HUGE gift of love! You couldn't possibly have had ANYthing left after doing that for hours.
And Mr. Gales Ferry-Mike:
you're right about that good looking guy. He definately needs some granola and other homemade goodies to put a little 'love' back into those cheeks! An appropriate birthday yahoo for such a fabulous guy.

What a great poem, Jen. I'll bet the children loved it and each personal note as well. And, a Happy Birthday to the guy in Gales Ferry, too. I'll send him a separate email. I bought some strawberries yesterday at Roche Bros. They are the ones from Plant City, Florida, and are awesome this time of year. Bought an angel cake and cool whip as well, so Uncle D can have an easy version of strawberry shortcake.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICH! Thanks for your great example Jen, stepping it up over here too. :)
We think alike, I did a similar pillow antic..unfortunately Kate went around behind me (sneakily) to unravel all my efforts and eat the goods...
Nice work cupid fairy! Keep the ideas coming!
I blogged about the candy 1st!!!
:)
Love you
