It is always hard to say good-bye to those we love, luckily we know that we will be able to join them on the other-side and never have to say good-bye again.

For those who were not there, Jen gave an amazing eulogy as did dad.
Amy Jo was our organist for LOTS ofsongs.
All the great grandchildren sang, "I Am A Child Of God"
Rebecca gave a reading from New Test.
Jarrod gave 2 readings from O.T.
Ben Videoed
Aaron and Rach sang an amazing duet of a different arrangement of "How Great Thou Art."
The last song was "The old Rugged Cross" This was Nana's favorite.
After a verse I heard this amazing descant and thought "Who are these Baptists, who are able to do this?
Well it was Rachael and Aaron harmonizing...That is when I lost it because I really felt like she was there enjoying her very favorite hymn.
Shirley and David did an amazing job arranging the church, flowers, food. It was a lovely day.

The pictures are beautiful, Jenny. You did a great job capturing everyone. It was a beautiful day for Nana--weather couldn't have been nicer. The music was great, and I was in awe of Rachael's and Aaron's singing of "How Great Thou Art". They are amazing. I also loved hearing them echo the Old Rugged Cross. Sure wish they were in our choir!! Loved the picture that Cooper painted--lots of talent in our big family. Thank you for your eulogy of Nana. It was wonderful. Love, Aunt Shirley

WOW!! What a touching post, made me cry. Haven't really been in touch with my feelings with Nanna's passing. It's been awhile since I've seen her, but I truly do love her and realized how much i miss her honesty that would come out of her mouth. She was an amazing woman with wonderful children that have touched our lives. Thank you for making me feel like I was really there with your pictures. Love you!!
