Before it got serious, we were calling it FWINTER

I went for a walk last week, and got all excited about the beauty of a little winter mixed up with the remaining fall.  Then winter got serious and, well, got in the way, frankly.  Still, I cannot deny the exquisiteness that a little mixing it up begat:

    That last picture makes me laugh. When I was bent over in my neighbor's driveway, he came out to ask if everything was okay... Oh YES! I replied--just taking a picture of the leaves in your driveway...
    Weird?

    Love the last shot....it's fun to see the fall colors behind the snow. There is beauty all around :-) Now, let's enjoy the 50's for a while.
