One sock, two sock...

...Twenty-SEVEN socks!!
all of them,
stuffed down between the head of the bed and the wall,
or down there on the floor.
I'm not really sure how that happens.

SO, after tidy-ing up JUST A BIT,
I left a little reminder taped behind the pillows.

  1. What's the matter with putting the worn clothing into the basket in the laundry room? Too far to walk? I love your sign! Hope it works.

  3. Your note is so much nicer than mine would have been! I think mine would have said, "Dear son, You owe me one favor for each sock I found in your room. I hope you didn't have anything exciting planned for the three-day weekend. Love, Mom"

    P.S. Word verification: cryingst

  4. That's hysterical! My husband has the same go-to-bed-issue. Except his come off inside the bed, fall down inside the covers and accumulate on the backside of the end of the bed.

  7. That's so crazy! You've done what few mothers have--found the black hole for socks in your house! The Alaska book sounds great-I'm adding it to my "to-read" list!!

  8. Woah, so that's where all my missing socks are! I'm with Amy, all my personal socks end up at the foot of the bed, but who knows where the boys' socks are?
