It was a GLORIOUS saturday.
lots of get-outside-ing
and the noteworthy mopping-of-the-floor;
not to be out-shined by
fort-building,
soccer-playing,
laundry-hanging,
wood-chopping,
tree-doctoring,
book-reading,
flower-gazing,
sun-bathing,
lawn-mowing,
oil-changing,
lime-spreading
and chore-doing.
I'm going to feel goo-ood about the resting we do on the Sabbath.
Fun! It was a pretty day here as well.
ReplyDeleteA great day to do all the chores and to read and nap as well. Nice to have lots of hands to help make working lighter.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! Who is that bald young man chopping wood? It can't be Reuben! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures. Kinda jealous that I missed such a beautiful day. Spent it INDOORS at a ball tournament.
ReplyDeletesuch a perfect saturday. I love those days.
ReplyDeletegetting things accomplished is the best!
I <3 check lists, just ask Zach. LOVE the post too. We must be kindred spirits. If not, don't dash my hopes.
