    hilarious kid. 100%.
    I did have the thought that I could tell him he didn't have to wear it to climb the tree (we were riding bikes before tree climbing) but then caught myself, and thought better of it (safety mom emerged)

    oh dear, in future years he will look back at this picture and be traumatized at the sight of the helmet.

    Boys are meant to fall down, bang their heads, obtain bruises, destroy clothing, and generally drive their mothers to their knees in prayer.
