After more than a week of living in a kitchen with two couches and large pieces of furniture, (like eating in a storage unit) the family room floor has been pronounced FINISHED. (Yay!)
The day of furniture moving and room arranging has arrived.
Now the question: area rug? or not? throw rugs? or not? Stay tuned...

Oooo...gorgeous! Enjoy your glossy new floors (sock skating!)
ReplyDeleteHow 'bout some of both rugs? It's BEAUTIFUL! :)
ReplyDeleteI loooooooove wooden floors. My vote is no rugs. Then you can have an excuse to get a Scooba, and your floors will be shiny and beautiful pretty much all the time.
ReplyDeleteStarts with an A and ends with a rea rug. Big one.
ReplyDeleteYou should have a square dance before you put all the furniture back!

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! That looks lovely! Kind of makes you want to put on a pair of clean socks and slide around... :) As for the rugs- I'm liking the throw rug idea.
ReplyDeleteI'm drooling. Honestly. I know rugs are essential for cozy-ing things up, but it sure seems a shame to be covering all of that lusciousness. Like sliding across caramel.
ReplyDeleteWow! Gorgeous! Conagrats to your workmen on a job fabulously done!
ReplyDeletelooks BEAUTIFUL.
ReplyDeleteI saw BIG area rug...nice work guys!
Looks gorgeous, and I vote for rugs to protect the floor. It is your busiest room and most used room of the house, and I would want to protect those floors so they don't get scratched up. They just look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOne really big rug to anchor the room, and a few runners near the doors. Fabulous job Mr. W. I'm so glad you redid them.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely. Don't cover it all up.
ReplyDeleteThat looks SO good! Definitely needs a rug or two--can I go shopping with you?
ReplyDeleteIt looks BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! Congrats!
